Show Gardens
Our show gardens are one of our most popular show attractions. 94% of visitors make a bee-line to them to pick up inspiration, ideas and find professionals to help them improve their own gardens at home.
Show patron Sir Roddy Llewellyn is not surprised at the show gardens’ popularity. “There’s such a generosity of spirit at Southport Flower Show. You can often see the designers and landscapers in their show gardens chatting away to visitors, letting them in on a few trade secrets and explaining the benefits of employing a professional.”
The best Garden Designers and Landscapers are usually inundated with enquiries at the first signs of spring. So if you're thinking of having your garden done it's a well kept trade secret that Autumn is the perfect time. It’s the best time to lay turf or sow seed, perfect for planting and the cheapest time to buy many trees as bare-roots.
And for good Landscapers and Garden Designers, August is a great time to do a show garden. Demand is not as frantic as spring time, and with up to 70,000 visitors coming to the show it gives you the perfect opportunity to showcase your work to prospective clients - and say hello to previous clients.
