Contemporary Floral Design

Southport Flower Show has an illustrious reputation for the quality, diversity and beauty of its floral art exhibits. The challenge of exhibiting at Southport has created some exceptional displays from individuals and groups alike.

Inspired from contact with young and up and coming local floral designers, 2010 sees a new element to floral arts at Southport with a competition specifically aimed at encouraging more avant-garde, design led exhibits.

The new classes, and ways of staging, have been chose to stretch your imagination and skills and to provide a greater degree of flexibility for more contemporary and innovative designs to be exhibited.
