The tradition of gardening and the love of plants is to be found throughout the country has given birth to many plant, garden and horticultural societies.
These societies, made up of keen amateurs who enjoy the delights of finding out more about their chosen subject, exist to promote the love of particular flowers and groups of plants or as a place for people with an interest in gardening to meet socially and learn from each other.
A visit to the Societies Section is sure to stimulate your interest, answer all your questions and – you never know – encourage you to become an active member.
