Martin Fish entered horticulture as an apprentice gardener and has a wealth of gardening experience. A BBC radio broadcaster for over 20 years and for 15 years he presented regional gardening programmes for the BBC and ITV. He also writes for Garden News, Kitchen Garden magazine and several regional newspapers. Martin lives in North Yorkshire where he is developing his ¾ acre garden.
Sarah Hopps has always had a passion for plants and gardening and for 15 years she ran her own small nursery specialising in cottage garden plants.She writes for Garden Answers and was a regular panellist on BBC Radio York. She has also co-presented gardening programmes for Central Television. Sarah also acts as tour guide, escorting groups around the gardens of Britain and Europe, but still manages to find time to tend her own garden in North Yorkshire.
Steve Ott is the editor of Kitchen Garden magazine, a monthly publication giving practical advice on growing a wide range of fresh fruit and vegetables. He trained in horticulture and for several years was an advisor for Fisons before joining the team at Garden News. Steve lives in Lincolnshire where he has a productive vegetable plot.
